Nancy has been a coach at four different schools in Palm Beach County.  Academic Games National champions seem to follow her around.  For several years, she has directed the secondary division of the Palm Beach Academic Games League, as well as coordinator of the Middle Division at the AGLOA National Tournament.  As with all of the honorees, Nancy is dedicated to her players. She challenges them with love and they respond.

"Nancy Kinard was one of the most influential people I've ever met. She was and still is the coordinator of Palm Beach County- FL Academic Games and the head Academic Games coach at Palm Beach Gardens High School- my high school alma mater. She has attended Nationals for at least the past ten years and is currently on the Board of Directors of AGLoA. She has provided me with excellent coaching in Presidents and World Events- Lingushtiks and Propaganda- and during my senior year of high school- in Equations. With her help and coaching- I have made Nationals the last three years of high school- and during the 1998 Nationals- both our Presidents and World Events teams won national championships. She is an excellent coach and a great friend and her long list of credentials in the Academic Games I believe makes her well qualified to be on the list of great coaches of all time."
