That Sophistical Formula applies to academic games judges in all games. The more heated the players are – and even the sponsors – the calmer, more cautious you must be as the one who has to settle the dispute.
Calm everyone down so that you can hear relevant testimony. If necessary, make anyone who won't let others talk move away.
