What May a Judge Tell Players?
This is a continuation of last month's article, which was in the form of a quiz.
Which of the following may a judge tell a player during an Equations or On-Sets match?
- If a variation (or combination of variations) allows a player to take a certain action or use a cube in a specific way.
- If a variation chosen by a player is legal or if two variations chosen for a shake are contradictory and, if so, how the situation is to be resolved.
- Whether a Solution is correct when an opponent has given no specific objection to the Solution.
- Exactly what a player is charging or challenging (after hearing the explanation and any relevant testimony from the other parties);
- How to score the match (round).
- Whether a Goal has a defined interpretation (before a Challenge has been issued).
