Judges Corner for February 2012

Wandering Eyes

During a round of any of the games, but particularly during reading games, a player may try to get a glimpse of an opponent's Solution or answer sheet. Don't jump to conclusions but approach the situation cautiously.

  • If the player repeats the suspicious behavior, tell the player to keep his eyes on his own paper. Also tell the player whose paper is the object of the prying eye to keep her paper covered.
  • If, after the warning, the player makes another attempt to copy from another player, penalize the player a point and warn the player that continued misbehavior will result in disqualification.
