A "forceout" occurs when all cubes except one have been played to the mat from Resources. At this point no player may challenge Now. Instead the player whose turn it is moves the last cube to either Required or Permitted. All players now have two minutes to write a correct Solution.

The scoring in this situation goes like this:

1. A player who shows a correct Solution scores 4 points.
2. A player who does not show a correct Solution scores 2 points.

The only exceptions to the above procedure are that a player may challenge Never when one cube is left in Resources. (This challenge is directed against the last player who moved a cube to the mat.) Or a player may challenge Never after the last cube in Resources is moved to the mat.
