Bill Hargest 

Allegheny Valley, PA 

One of the first truly great players, Bill was the anchor for some of the early teams from Allegheny Valley. After high school graduation he attended Grove City College where he obtained a BS in Chemical Engineering.  He then attended the University of Pittsburgh where he received an MBA.  He has additional grad courses from Pitt, Carnegie-Mellon and the  University of Massachusetts.  After college graduation he began a career with PPG Industries where he still works.

He has worked in Milwaukee, Columbus, Mexico City and now Springdale, PA where he is in Research and Development as a Chemical Engineer.  In 1981 he married in Milwaukee to Patricia (Pat) and they have three children:  Andrew is a 10th grader, Emily is a 7th grader, and Holly is a 4th grader.

Jim Ferrell 

Mt. Lebanon, PA

An early great at the beginning of the Mt. Lebanon dynasty, the most interesting thing about Jim's career is that his three individual titles were all in different subject areas. Jim is a graduate of Williams College and Stanford Medical School. He is currently a Professor at Stanford.
