1. World Events - The Year 2007: In November 2007, the president of Pakistan resigned as Army Chief to end eight years of military rule. This action was praised by President Bush. What is the Pakistani president's name?
2. LinguiSHTIK (All Divisions): Is bucket in a dependent clause in the following sentence?

   "I picked a bucket of strawberries," said Natasha.

3. Equations and On-Sets (All Divisions): A Solution-writer begins to explain the Solution to the opponents. Then the writer makes a change in the Solution and begins the explanation again. What should happen?
4. Presidents

   1-12: My wife Abigail's father was a Congregational minister who was very unenthusiastic about his daughter marrying me. I received 71 electoral votes when elected president. I actually received more electoral votes, 77, when I was elected vice president. 13-24: I was impeached by a party-line vote of 126 to 47, and 11 articles of impeachment were sent to the Senate. Seven Republican senators crossed party lines to vote against my removal. None of the seven was reelected.

    

   25-33: I won a minor reputation with an essay published in International Review shortly after my graduation from college. The article called for measures to make the American cabinet responsible to Congress, as the British cabinet was responsible to the British Parliament.
